Happy Wednesday friends!

I’m here to help you over this hump day with a little fuel for your spirit and body.

Many of you have asked me what the First Fruit Fit Club is so today I’m going to share with you a little video clip I made on Facebook as well as one of our September at home workouts with you! If you are a club member you get this workout along with others, a workout calendar for the entire month, printables with the written workout(if you would prefer to take it with you and do it in the gym), a meal plan and a private Facebook accountability group. All of this for only $12/month! But because I love you I am giving you half off your first month making it only $6!(that’s the cost of a Starbucks and your body will thank you for it!). You can register HERE and use code FIRSTFRUIT to take advantage of that discount.

Here is the video I shared on Facebook with a bit more heart behind this ministry:

Before I leave you today I want to share a short devotional I wrote that goes along with the workout I shared with you:

HIGH HEELS & BUNIONS

POWER VERSE:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit says the Lord”. Zechariah 4:6

POWER THOUGHT: If we try to carry the weight of the world on our own we will find ourselves walking around with spiritual bunions that hurt, are ugly and cause us to limp on our spiritual journey.

DAILY DEVO:

Have you ever worn high heels for any period of time? If you are like me, you can’t wait to get them off the second you reach your car. This is because our weight is unevenly distributed to the front of our foot. The balls of our feet were never intended to be load bearing. God created our entire foot to carry the load. When our body is in proper alignment and all of our joints are “stacked” on top of one another it prevents injury and keeps us healthy and strong. The same principle is true spiritually. We were never intended to bear our own burdens. When we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders we will eventually get worn out, cranky and develop spiritual bunions that hurt us and everyone around us. Take some time today to redistribute the weight back to God so you can stay fit for your journey. Ask God if you need to take a season of rest from certain things in order to rejuvenate and take care of your body the way God intended for you to.

WRITE IT OUT:

  1. What area did God show you that you are carrying unnecessary weight?
  2. What steps can you make today to bring your body and spirit back into alignment with God?
  3. Did God reveal any spiritual bunions in your life? If so, take a moment to ask Him to remove them and make you new again.
