Hey Fit Friends,
First off, WELCOME to all of our new fit club members! We are so glad you have joined us this month. Each month is always a new theme for our workouts and this month is, you guessed it, Christmas themed!
I know many people say this but Christmas really is my most favorite time of the year. I had a blast writing and recording this month’s workouts.
This month I am providing a fun printable that one of my friends at Revelation Wellness made to help give us a visual of the journey that Joseph & Mary took to Bethlehem. Their journey was about 90 miles so I am challenging all of us to “walk” their journey this month! This printable is a great way to track your progress. If you notice you get to check off a mile each time you exercise or do movement of any kind(yes house cleaning is included) for 15 minutes. But you can also check off a mile when you spend 15 minutes in a devotional or quiet time with the Lord. I plan to print this and include my kids on this journey too. Not only do we get a visual of what Joseph & Mary did to prepare for Jesus’ birth but we also are intentional about moving and getting in God’s word this month!
Here is that printable:
Each month I write 4 new workouts and I record them for you. I include the written printables in case you prefer to stick headphones in and workout on your own or at the gym but just need some direction. The printables also include information about what equipment you will need, the power verse for the day and the video link. I recommend saving these to your computer so you can have easy access to every month’s workouts and can use them in the future.
I also include a workout calendar each month. This is not some legalistic thing you have to follow but instead a suggested order that I think would work based on the type of workouts that month. However, if you would prefer to take a day off during the week rather than Sunday, go for it. Find what works for you and stick to it. Also, if your goal is weight loss I recommend not skipping those steady state cardio days.
I’ve attached a daily log if you wish to keep a closer eye on your daily food intake and weekly exercise goals. I encourage you to choose 1 verse as your power verse for the week and meditate on it. You will be amazed at the power that is released as you dwell on God’s word first and foremost.
Last, but not least, here are your video links! Like I mentioned before, these are on that printable so if you save that you shouldn’t have to open this site every time you want to pull a workout up to do.
12 MOVES OF CHRISTMAS: 28 min, 48 sec
SILENT NIGHT(STRENGTH & STRETCH): 29 min, 10 sec
*Don’t forget all of the workouts from the last 5 months are available to you so feel free to mix and match any of those as well!
One final word of encouragement from me: please view this as a journey rather than a destination. Submitting our heart, mind and body to God is a daily lifestyle and not a quick fix. The holidays can be tough to eat well, exercise and get our quiet time with God. Do your best, bring the first of yourself to God and don’t fret or have anxiety when you eat more cake then usual. Enjoy your family, set realistic boundaries, move your body, stay in God’s word and trust the process. God is cheering for you and so am I!
Love,
Rachael

Please do not share these printables or workouts with anyone who has not paid to be a member of this at home fit club. I appreciate your support of this ministry!
