Happy Friday friends!
Today I have a short devotional for you and a workout. I pray it blesses you!
POWER VERSE:
“Give your burdens to the Lord and He will take care of you. He will not permit the Godly to slip and fall.” Psalm 55:22
POWER THOUGHT: You are FREE from the shame and heaviness of not being enough. You are beautiful!
WORK IT OUT:
- Do this FREE workout from me with plates: PLATE FUSION
- Side note: I recorded this workout a few months ago and I laid down my burden of our house selling and whether I should run a marathon. I am happy to tell you our house sold and we have been blessed with a new home that has far exceeded our expectations. And I am half way through my marathon training! Write your burdens down that you yield to him today then look back in months and years to come and see how God was faithful!
WORK IT IN:
From the beginning of time, there has been a burden on women that we were never meant to carry. Satan started with Eve in getting her to believe the lie that there was more out there that God was withholding from her. From the moment she believed that lie we have wrestled with who God created us to be. The truth is that God created us to be beautiful human beings who were perfect from the moment He created us. He did not create Eve then require that she lose a certain amount of weight, have perfect hair and make-up or even the right outfit(actually she didn’t have one at all!). No, he created Eve and immediately revealed her to Adam. God wants to set us free in the area of our body image and be who HE created us to be. Jesus came to set us free, not just from sin but also from the bondage and weight of not feeling worthy enough to be called beautiful. You are beautiful right where you are and you are enough.
WRITE IT OUT:
- Is there an area of your body image that you have believed a lie? Take time to listen to what God is showing you and ask Him to replace that lie with His truth.
- Has this lie affected relationships in your life? Has it caused you to not pursue God given dreams? Take some time to write about this and ask God to redeem what the enemy has stolen.
P.S. From time to time I create a teeshirt with a message to inspire you on your faith & fitness journey. This tee will be available to purchase until October 10th(sorry if you are reading this post after that date!)
