Happy November friends!

Can you believe it is already that time of year?! This is the time of year when most people are giving up on “diets” and deciding to try again in January. But not you and not us. My heart is that you come to understand that there is no such thing as a crash diet but instead it is a way of life(since that’s what the word “diet” actually means). I want you to find a new kind of freedom this holiday season. Let’s not run back and forth between the extremes of binge eating OR counting calories so often that we miss the joy of the celebration in front of us. But instead let’s bring the best, or first, of ourselves to God and watch Him abundantly bless it in ways we could have never done on our own.

I wrote this month’s workouts a bit different in that there are 6 NEW workouts! You also still have access to the previous month’s workouts so if you get bored or have a particular one you love feel free to sub it in for one of the days on the calendar. You will notice that 4 of the 6 workouts for this month are less than 15 minutes which means you can mix and match which you pair together. I did this on the workout calendar but you are welcome to switch them up however you would like. This also means with the busyness of the holidays if you only have a short amount of time simply do one of the short workouts. A short workout is better than no workout at all!

The common theme you are going to see for the Power Verses this month are “Run your Race” and “Build one another up”. I felt the Lord put those two themes & verses to go with them on my heart strongly because of the importance of running our own race at our own pace. It is also important that we cheer others on around us who are running their race! So much power is released in our life when we take our eyes off our own circumstances and on to speaking life over someone else.

I am attaching documents to help you track your eating BUT only use them if you lack self-control in the area of eating. If you are someone who is a bit obsessed with measuring food and counting calories then it might be freeing for you to just eat whole, unprocessed foods and give yourself a little grace. Again, this is where it comes back to us each running our own race and doing what God has called us to do.

I am also attaching a 5 day dinner meal plan with a shopping list. I usually only cook 5 days a week and then we do leftovers the other 2 days. You will also notice most of the meals are grain free and full of veggies. I try to do dinners this way because most of us are too high in grains and low in vegetables. With my own family I use dinner time as a chance to catch up on veggies and protein. I hope it blesses you!
